Our Company

RESM is built around assisting small to medium sized organisations to keep on top of their employment practices. Employees are fundamental to any business and if employees are treated properly and kept motivated, they and your business will excel. Through a consultation process we are able to do an audit of the current policies, procedures, and employment contracts to determine legal compliance as well as determining the current state of employee relations and service delivery. Through this process RESM is able to recommend, implement and monitor changes and address training needs to improve employee relationships.

RESM is also able to advise and assist with your staff related matters and chair disciplinary enquiries; ill-healthy incapacity enquiries and grievances.

As with any service-based business, we are often asked a variety of questions from who we work with, what areas of speciality we have, and our accreditations.

We have tried to answer some of the common questions, however, we are always fully available to answer any further questions that you might have.

What kind of clients do you work with?

We typically work with small to medium-sized businesses and NGO’s. However, over and above this, we do have a very accomplished background in working with major financial and auditing firms.

Unfortunately, at this stage we are not able to take on private clients for advice with regards to a work situation

What are your accrediations?

Our current accreditations and qualifications are as follows;

– Bachelors degree in Industrial Psychology

– Arbitrator with the Association of Arbitrators, Southern Africa

– Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR, United Kingdom) Accredited Arbitrator

– Accredited Mediator with the Africa Centre for Dispute Settlement (ACDS)

Are you lawyers?

No, we are not lawyers. We are accredited Arbitrators and Mediators with a specialisation in HR and IR matters. We believe that by having these specialisations, without the traditional legal background we are able to offer our clients a more rounded and holistic solution to their requirements.
